Welcome to The Yo, operated by Big Vibe Studios ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using The Yo, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use The Yo. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using our app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, including but not limited to:

• Providing false information
• Violating community guidelines
• Engaging in abusive or harmful behavior
• Attempting to compromise the security or integrity of the app

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users
• Post or share content that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or violates others' rights
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Spam, solicit, or advertise without our permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to interact with the app without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers

5. Events

5.1 Event Creation

• You are responsible for the accuracy of event information you create
• You agree to only create events you have permission to host
• Private events must respect the privacy of attendees

5.2 Event Attendance

• Joining an event does not guarantee entry to the physical location
• Event hosts have the right to remove attendees from their events
• You are responsible for verifying event details before attending

5.3 Event Liability

Important: The Yo is a platform for organizing and discovering events. We are NOT responsible for:

• The safety, quality, or legality of events
• The accuracy of event information
• Actions or behavior of event hosts or attendees
• Any injuries, damages, or losses that occur at events

6. Content

6.1 User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (event descriptions, comments, photos)
• By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app
• You are solely responsible for your content and must have rights to any content you post

6.2 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Yo app, including its code, design, features, and branding, is owned by Big Vibe Studios
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our app
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without permission

8. Privacy

Your use of The Yo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Third-Party Services

The Yo integrates with third-party services (Firebase, Google Services, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• All bugs or issues will be corrected
• The app will meet your specific requirements
• Information provided through the app is accurate or reliable

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us (if any)
• We are not liable for any losses resulting from events organized through the app

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Big Vibe Studios from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the app
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Events you host or attend through the app

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using The Yo at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of South Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Greenville County, South Carolina.

16. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at support@bigvibestudios.com. We'll work to resolve it informally before pursuing legal action.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Big Vibe Studios regarding The Yo.
